Town Builder: Coevorden
This little game came with my pledge for Mistwind, which was a little bit to my surprise because I completely forgot why it was added in the first place. Perhaps the cozy description for Town Builder: Coevorden won me over and since it was a small (and probably cheap) addition to a game I wanted I must have added it.
The main feature is that the whole game operates on a single deck of multi-purpose cards and everyone will be vying for what is available in a shared market row. These cards are the buildings you want to construct for your town while also being resources that you'll gain and spend for buildings. There's a set of public scoring goals that are shown at the start of the game as well as some that will be discovered as you go through the deck of cards. You'll be constructing buildings for their points, their types which could matter for scoring or for awards, as well as for abilities which help with your limited action economy.

Playing this one solo is pretty straight forward, after doing your pick of an action you'll remove two cards fro the market. It's pretty smooth and easy to play with its only downside is that I don't see a reason to play it as it doesn't do anything particularly interesting. I feel like there are other games that have similar overlap that are way more engaging and enjoyable. There's nothing horribly wrong with it, just that the competition in my library is pretty stiff. If I wanted a filler game with drafting there's Faraway or the Point series like Point City or Point Salad, if I wanted card combos, there's Unstoppable, and I have a plethora of games that do multi-use cards.
