Spots
Light games are difficult for me as often I'm looking for a more complex and crunchy experience. But every once in a while there are small and light games that work well, and Spots is one of them. It's a simple push your luck game where you roll dice and if you bust then you lose all progress you've made. The goal is to complete 6 dog cards in order to win, with dogs needing specific numbers to show.
It uses an excellent action selection system where there are 6 actions per game and when you use one it goes away until actions refresh. Which will happen when one action is left unused. To incentive players for that action, it'll get a bone resource which you can spend on your turn to reroll dice, so it has great mitigation too.

The dogs have wonderful personalities displayed in the art and cards. The rulebook has a really cute comic that demonstrates how easy it is to play. It's a perfectly cozy game with enough risk to give it some excitement.
